Description
A studio crafted console table or (vanity) desk made of three 4 cm (1.5") thick maple burl slabs, by Oregon woodworker Michael Elkan.
Elkan strove to create simple and functional pieces that showed the beauty of the wood. This piece is made from a single tree, to create a harmonious flow. Michael Elkan (1942 – 2014) was an American designer, craftsman and artist. After a career in the fashion industry, he started his woodwork studio in Oregon in 1980.
