A desk with incredible form and presence. This attractive original magic box desk, cabinet/desk made in Denmark, features a brass hinged double door cabinet that opens up to reveal an abundance of storage space and cubbies with adjustable shelving. Featuring a large slide out desktop, workspace in the center, above a slide out tray/ drawer. To the left and right are additional open storage cubbies with adjustable shelves and one drop down drawer front cubbie on the upper right with a key. The lower left has a filing storage area with dividers. This is a truly unique desk. The clever design provides minimal space consumption when the cabinet doors are closed measuring just 20 3/8″ in depth and 33″ wide perfect for small areas. Fully open, it becomes a large workspace table. Precisely crafted in exceptional wood grain , with a fully finished back and interior. The finished back side makes this storage desk ideal for placement in an open floor plan, making it a great focal point, characteristically sleek and functional and exudes an aesthetic beauty as well making it perfect for the modern interior.
Condition Report: Construction is stable and sturdy. The adjustable desktop glides smoothly. The base is tight level and supportive, and the interior is clean. Original wood surface throughout, with a rich and glowing patina.
