-
Description
Beautiful oval shaped with free form feet coffee table made in France in the early 1980s from a beautiful Pyrénées marble called Brèche de Benou or Brèche de Vendôme. Each foot, in solid marble, is finished by a solid brass disk. The Brèche du Benou has a multicoloured gravelly structure in shades of intense yellow and green, up to pink. This is a very precious marble and has always been used for important achievements such as the decorations of the palace of Versailles, including its most renowned fireplaces, and the interiors of famous historic buildings throughout Europe. It is very rare to find today. This table has been fully repolished and renewed, and is found in a great condition.
