Paolo Buffa 50s console
-
Description
Italian console from the 1950s designed by Paolo Buffa, one of the most prolific designers of the 20th century with a modern and functional style.
The design of the console has important elements of the Empire style.
The top is a fabulous slab of Vaglia Arabescato Marble, characterized by having a dark gray reticulated vein with scarlet red details.
Under the top we find a waist-level drawer veneered in rosewood with a small medallion-shaped handle.
The legs are scissor-shaped and made of gold-plated metal. The crossing of the legs is reinforced by a metal fastener in the shape of an elongated and thin baluster.
It is a piece of absolute elegance. It is ideal for a hallway thanks to its small size.
