Substantial Brutalist dining table base by Paul Evans for Directional, circa 1977. Iconic "sculpted bronze" series, with handcrafted surface texture and abstract blocking design that is reminiscent of Manhattan skyline. Signed PE and dated 77. The base is 28.5 H by 65.5 L by 26 D and it currently supports a glass top that is 54 by 108 but a larger or smaller glass top can be supported if desired. The current glass top is complimentary.
