Rare and Amazing Curved Aqua Lacquered Wood Art Deco Vanity Designed By Paul Poiret in 1928.Sensuous all Inclusive Design with Vanity Seat And Round Mirror.Designed For Contempora In New York That Exhibited Eight 'Harmonized Rooms' in 1929.All These Complete Room Settings Were Designed By The Groups Members : Bruno Paul,Lucian Bernhard,Rockwell Kent and Paul Poiret.There is A Set Of Skyscraper Design Shelves with a Silver Leaf Door with a Great Bronze Stepped Cabinet Pull.The Other Three Square and Rectangular Cubby Holes are Finished in Gold Leaf.On the Other Side are Two Drawers Finished in Silver Leaf with Bronze Drawer Pulls And Fitted on The Side of These Drawers is a Gold Leafed Rectangular Cubby Hole.Lacquered In The Original Aqua,Gold Leaf,Silver Leaf and Black Finishing. There are some Chips,Scratches and Dings to this Finish requiring Some Touch Up.The Measurements are 68" in Width and 53 1/2" In Height and 55 1/2" in Depth.The Mirror is 39 1/2" in Diameter.The Vanity Seat Height is 15 1/4" Without The Cushion .Height with The Cushion is 18" in Height and The Vanity Seat Diameter is 18".
