Santo Side Table by Pedro Friedeberg, Mexico, 2009

Mexican artist Pedro Friedeberg has been captivated by pagan idols since the 1970’s, resulting in a collection of the most unusual sculptures. This table is an assemblage of a baroque Santo head, serpentine body, and piscine tail. The piece is signed by the artist and in excellent condition.
