Stunning rectangular "Tao" end table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-applied gold leaf by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip. Kelvin LaVerne” on top). The engraved scene on top is based on an ancient Chinese painting which explores the relationship between man and the structure of the world around him.
