A wonderfully vibrant and elaborate Portuguese writing or library table made of solid rosewood, with single plank top with gadrooned edge over two drawers with raised cushion fronts surrounded by intricate dentil moldings to drawers and apron, matching false drawers to reverse to enable the table to be placed anywhere in a room, with extravagantly turned legs and feet joined by a deep barley twist box stretcher. A masterpiece of design and craftsmanship, and a striking addition to any room.
