Description
New England, probably Connecticut or Massachusetts, ca. 1770-1785.
Cherry, white pine secondary wood.
Over-all in great condition, period brass, minor imperfections, traces of red stain on the interior.
Provenance: Private Collection: C.L. Prickett Antiques, Yardley, Pa.
The compact case is complimented with a molded top over one long and three smaller drawers, the central with a carved fan. The case is further embellished with a scalloped skirt and supported with cabriole legs ending on pad feet.
