Linteloo "Lowtide" Roderick Vos Coffee Table - 2000's

Sold Sold
  • Description
Linteloo produced the ‘Lowtide’ coffee table by Dutch designer Roderick Vos. This side table was inspired by a walk along the wind-swept seashore. The piece uses a computer-guided milling technique to give the top a ‘handcrafted’ pattern, that resembles the sand structures left on the beach at low tide. Includes an authenticity label. This table is handmade in The Netherlands.

In his design aesthetics, Roderick feels less connected with post-modernism than with the Platonic philosophy that every soul desires the good, the true, and the beautiful. So, that is what he tries to achieve. ‘I want to make people happy with beautifully useful pieces. Objects that exude aesthetic pleasure. Strong shapes that feel beautiful, good, and true.’
