Description
A rare ceramic tile coffee table by Roger Capron, Model Alouette, 1970-1971. This rare coffee table from one of the masters of ceramics and ceramic tile coffee tables from Vallauris is composed of heavily scraffito tiles on a dark wood base. It is asymmetrical in design. A similar table is on p 108-109 in the monograph Roger Capron, Ceramiste, Pierre Staudenmeyer, Editions Norma. 2003.
