Round amber or deep gold murano glass and brass martini or side table, Italy, 2023. Hand casted 1 inch thick, solid, amber or deep gold (almost orange) colored murano round glass top sits atop a hand turned, trumpet-shaped brass base. A modern flat top brass finial screws the glass top to the brass base. Handcrafted by master artisan in Veneto, Italy. This side table can be purchased alone or as a set with a shorter, matching Murano Glass table (see last photo). Listing is for a single table. These martini side tables are on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center. Other color glass: Cobalt Blue, and Green are also available. Measurements: Short table (21" height x 23.75" diameter); Tall table (25" height x 23.75" diameter).
Note: These glass table tops are made individually by hand in Murano. They are hand casted in old iron molds and molded under high temperatures. The glass tops are in their natural state with slight variations to the surface and some very light minor scratches that come from being handled and taken off the molds. These are not imperfections to the glass but just the character of the one-of-a-kind, human made piece.
