An Iberian walnut provincial splayed leg trestle-form side table, with wrought iron bent twisted rods attached to the wooden side stretchers; in the Castilian Baroque manner. Two frontal frieze drawers, with foliate carved facings, allow for usage as a writing table. Not a 'center' table, as the frieze is not finished on all four sides. In lieu of more precise dating, tables were made in this manner for decades during the 17th century. The single board walnut top, irregularities in turnings and carvings, argue against later dating in either the 18th or 19th centuries; when many 'revival' tables were made.
