Likely designed and manufactured by Stone International in Italy circa 1980s, this natural travertine coffee table has an amazing presence. The top and legs have a thick and solid-like construction, lending to what I call a Carsons design profile. Notice how the natural travertine has a porous and bisque surface. This is because the travertine is neither filled nor polished. This rare treatment is very tactile and warm and lends an elegance that is superior to the more commonly polished travertine counterparts. As pictured, just below the top where it meets the legs there is an interruption in the form of a channel around each of the legs. This separation creates contrast between the top and the legs, lending to more of an architectural feel.

Conditon is very good to excellent. No stains or damage observed. Maintanence for this table will be easy. Simply use an abrasive pad to rub away any light stains.
