A Swedish Gustavian style painted wood table from the late 19th century, with carved rosettes and tapered legs. Created in Sweden during the last quarter of the 19th century, this painted table features a rectangular top sitting above an apron carved with rosettes and petite beads. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, the table is raised on four tapered legs with beaded design on the knees. Boasting a nicely weathered patina, this Swedish Gustavian style table circa 1880 will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home, perhaps displayed in a living room or bedroom.
