Swedish Neoclassical 1790s Painted Wood Wall Table with Carved Waterleaf Motifs

$ 5,950
  • Description
    A Swedish Neoclassical period painted wall table from the late 18th century, with carved waterleaf motifs. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 18th century, this Neoclassical table features a rectangular top sitting above a simple apron carved with waterleaf motifs on three sides. Raised on four cylindrical tapering legs adorned with elongated foliage, the table is painted in a soft color with wood showing through, typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes. With its clean lines and subtle décor, this Swedish wall table circa 1790 will bring a touch of Classicism to any living room.
