Willy Daro Bonsai Tree Coffee Table - 1970's
-
Description
This sculptural coffee table was created by Belgian designer Willy Daro in the 1970s. The oval glass top rests on the brass structure in the shape of a bonsai tree. This organic cocktail table is in excellent original condition and would fit well in an eclectic Hollywood Regency-inspired interior.
Willy Daro is an artist known for his botanical and floral sculptural designs, as well as his integration of Brutalist style with luxurious natural materials such as fossils and minerals. He founded his factory, Les Nouveaux Ateliers Willy Daro in Brussels in the early 1960s, where he created sophisticated furniture and decor through 1987. -
