Description
Georgian mahogany tall case clock by James Worrel Clarke, London. Satinwood inlaid arched hood with three gilded finials, detached fluted columns to hood with gilded Corinthian capitals, recessed quarter fluted columns to trunk with gilt inlay, arched waist door with cross banding, shell pateray in corners, base with satinwood inlay, raised on shaped bracket feet. Twin train eight-day movement with anchor escapement, arched silvered dial, striking on the hour, seconds hand, calendar and strike/silent dial.
