Dating from circa 1982-1983, this Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. bangle bracelet is composed of 18K gold, black jade, and opal. The hinged form is inlaid over the bombé surface with alternating oblong black jade and opal tablets in a graduating patchwork pattern, all flush to to curved surface. Sleek and understated yet exhibiting virtuoso technique, this bracelet of clean lines highlights contrasting deep black jade and the pyrotechnic spectral phenomenon of precious opal.
