Created in the Art Deco period of 1920s Paris, this brooch by Maison Boucheron features diamonds and black enamel set in platinum and 18K gold. Designed as a stylized arrow, the shaped opaque black enamel body is surmounted and tipped with openwork platinum and diamond elements, enhanced by millegrain accents. This classic high Art Deco jewel with its disciplined focus on form and direction remains strikingly chic and modern, an artistic ornament for a gown strap, chic hat or updo.
