Description
Margaret De Patta Sterling and Onyx Cufflinks. These sterling silver and onyx cufflinks were handcrafted in the 1950's by Margaret De Patta (American: 1903-1964). De Patta is recognized as an important figure in American Modernist jewelry. De Patta's work is included in the collections of the Oakland Museum, The British Museum in London, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Museum of Art, and the Museum of Art and Design in New York.Each cufflink measures .875 inch square. The cufflinks bear impressed marks 'depatta'. These cufflinks are in excellent condition.
