Description
This antique French First Communion charm has been fashioned into a necklace by vintage jewelry designers, Intellectual Property. The silver and blue enameled charm is intricately decorated with a chalice and floral motif. Along the outside of the charm is the French text ”Souvenir De 1re Communion” in raised relief. The charm is further inscribed with the date “4 May 1932.” It is presented on a 16 inch strand of jade and faceted sodalite beads and finished with a sterling silver toggle.
Searching the braderies and antique shops throughout Europe, the founders of Intellectual Property, Mary and Hallie, specialize in finding unique antique medals and transforming them into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Their designs highlight the legacy and integrity of the original pieces, artfully bringing the past into the present. -
