This classic Bulgari "Trombino" ring is set with a center emerald, exhibiting the iconic Colombian green satin color, coupled with extraordinary clarity. With its clean, architectural lines and broad shoulders, patterned with pavé-set diamonds and stepped baguettes, this bold ring creates the perfect stage for a gorgeous specimen of emerald. The "Trombino" style has been popular since the 1930s, when it was first designed to showcase noble gems, as old-time dealers would put it, of the “finest crystal”—gem lover Elizabeth Taylor even purchased a Bulgari "Trombino" ring in 1971.
