Mark Shaw photographed Elsa Schiaparelli's best-known model, Ghislaine de Bosisson in an
ankle-length dress lounging on an elongated causeuse in Schiaparelli's home near the Champs Elysees
for LIFE's Nov. 1953 article "Dress and Decor from Paris Designers." A Bassarabian carpet from
a Russian Church and a Dali painting on the wall add to the "cozy clutter" of the living room scene.
