A Few of My Favorite Things at the Winter Antiques Show: Furniture and Paintings. New York City, January 2015

This year's Winter Antiques Show was upbeat and full of energy. Many of the exhibitors experienced strong sales, particularly in the Americana market. I couldn't resist taking photographs of some of the many wonderful examples of furniture and paintings that I saw during my multiple visits. The selections are eclectic, but all share a combination of style, design, and sense of emotion and drama--at least in my opinion.
