Alessandro Mendini (16 August 1931 – 18 February 2019) was a distinguished Italian designer and architect who left an indelible mark on the realms of Italian, Postmodern, and Radical design. His tenure as the editor-in-chief of Domus magazine from 1979 to 1985 marked a transformative period in modern design.
