Maison Ramsay

French
Maison Ramsay was a French furniture and decorative arts company founded in 1946 by Jacques and Bâma Sinnig, who later changed their name to Jacques and Dani Ruelland. The company was based in Paris and was known for its luxurious and high-quality furniture, lighting, and accessories.

Maison Ramsay's designs were characterized by their use of rich materials, such as bronze, gilt metal, and exotic woods, as well as their elegant and streamlined forms. The company collaborated with some of the most prominent designers of the mid-century period, including André Borderie, René Gabriel, and André Arbus, among others.

In addition to furniture and lighting, Maison Ramsay also produced decorative objects, such as mirrors, screens, and sculptures. The company was active until the mid-1970s, and its designs are still highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts today.
