A whimsical pair of antique Chinese cloisonne boxes in the form of kneeling horses on wooden stands, with removable lids, in enamel colors of turquoise, red, cobalt blue, green, yellows and white with gilded mane, ears, eyes, teeth and hoof feet. Depicted on the body are mythical birds and scrolling patterns.
