She was born in Paris and studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs, where she met her husband and artistic collaborator François-Xavier Lalanne. Together, they became known as Les Lalanne and created a wide range of sculptures, furniture pieces, and functional objects, such as mirrors, lamps, and even garden gates.
