Description
Considered a classic icon of modernist design, this rare version of the early Kurt Versen Studio table lamp has an aluminum top and paper shade. Kurt Versen was born in Sweeden and studied in Germany at the Polytech School. An avid modernist, he participated in 4 of the major US Expositions of the 1930’s and the1937 Paris Expo. He continued to participate in Good Design exhibits through the 1940’s and 1950’s, winning several citations along the way.
