Description
This rare large original Art Deco signed bronze nude was executed by Roland Paris circa 1920s. It is signed Roland Paris in the mold of the base. Roland Paris was born in Austria in 1894. He later moved to Berlin and studied with Henry van der Velde, co-founder of the Bauhaus. His work is known for it’s angular facial features, original modernist lines and Art Deco sensibility.
