Description
Gorgeous desk by Gio Ponti. Original brass hardware. Impressive in size and scale with two pull-out drawers flanking each side of the desk. A fantastic example of Gio Ponti design. A variant of 1940s design for University of Padua, later adapted for the Banco Nazionale del Lavoro. Desk was manufactured by I.S.A. in 1950 and beautifully refinished in creamy white.
