Description
Impressive and large Motorcycle Racing Trophy. Written on front plaque: " Challenge de la Ville de Paris" , A.M.S. Montreuil 1953-1954. The sculptor depicts a rider racing his machine at full speed. Signed on base of bronze : G. E. Mardini . On the reverse of the base of the bronze is a museum catalog number. The recipient's name plate has been removed which is not unusual. We believe this to be a one of a kind . This would make a great decorative addition to a gentleman's office, library or den.
