Anders Pehrson
Swedish, 1912 - 1982
Anders Pehrson (1922-2002) was a Swedish architect and designer known for his modern and innovative lighting designs. He studied architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and later worked as a designer for several Swedish lighting manufacturers, including Ateljé Lyktan and Fagerhults.
Pehrson's designs were characterized by their simple forms, clean lines, and use of modern materials such as aluminum and acrylic. He was particularly known for his pendant and floor lamps, which often featured adjustable shades that could be directed to different areas of a room.
