This is a spectacular Art Deco Cross Pendant , marked with a French touch mark on the bale for 18K gold, and accented with diamonds and sapphires. The center round old European cut diamond is collet set in platinum and measures nearly 2/3 carat and the four sides of the cross has a total of 20 diamonds, each approx 1/8 carat. The center diamond is surrounded by four cabochon sapphires and eight areas of channel set caliber cut graduated natural blue sapphires, with excellent color and quality. Each of the four arms of the cross has a diamond bordered edge. The center diamond is estimated at G color and SI2 clarity. Approximate total weight of 2.5 carats in diamonds. The four cabochon sapphires measures 1/8 carat each. Approximate total weight of sapphires is 3.6 carats. The cross measures 1 1/2 inch wide by 2 inches long. Exceptional workmanship with bold lines. This is one of the best Art Deco crosses we have ever seen.
