Konekt
American
Konekt is a design studio devoted to creating furniture that stirs the senses and celebrates the tactile experience. Guided by a passion for the distinctive and the unexpected, their collection highlights the organic beauty of natural materials and the harmonious contrast of texture, tone, and finish. Every piece is a sculptural exploration—balancing modern design with traditional craftsmanship techniques that span centuries, resulting in refined, contemporary works of functional art.
Expertly handcrafted in Pennsylvania, the collection includes everything from hand-patinated metal to meticulously stitched leather and upholstery. Each item is made to order, showcasing the skill of master artisans who bring thoughtful details and exceptional craftsmanship to life.
At the heart of Konekt is the mother-daughter team of Helena Sultan and Natasha Sultan. Helena, a former photographer and award-winning documentary filmmaker, brings a sharp visual sensibility and deep appreciation for form to the design process. Natasha, with a background in both contemporary and vintage jewelry, brings her fascination with sculptural elements to a larger scale through furniture and object design.
Together, Helena and Natasha offer a multi-generational perspective shaped by a shared lineage of artistry and a family history steeped in a love of design. Their grandmother and mother—an abstract painter known for richly textured canvases—instilled in them a soulful connection to materials and a reverence for beauty in imperfection. This legacy informs their collaborative process, driven by a mutual eye for elegance, simplicity, and intentional living.
