This three stage over-mantle mirror with a molded cornice above a Neoclassical design of drapery swags flanked by rosettes above fluted pilasters columns with Corinthian capitals is in a desirable, well-proportioned size.

Origin: United States, New York Period: 19th Century Materials: Carved gilt wood and gesso on eastern white pine, mirror plates. Condition: Overall in excellent condition, appears to have replaced backboards and glass. Original gilt with very minor losses, minor imperfections.
