Dino Rosin
Italian
Dino Rosin (1948-2021) was an Italian artist who was best known for his glass sculptures. He was born in Venice, Italy, and grew up in the famous island of Murano, where his family had a long tradition of working with glass.
Rosin began working with glass at a young age, learning the traditional techniques of glassblowing and sculpting from his brothers, who were also glass artists. He started creating his own glass sculptures in the 1960s, and quickly gained recognition for his skill and creativity.
Rosin's glass sculptures are characterized by their organic shapes and rich colors. He often drew inspiration from nature, incorporating elements such as water, animals, and plants into his work. He was also known for his figurative sculptures, which often featured human forms in motion.
Rosin's sculptures have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and are held in many private and public collections. He was considered one of the leading glass artists of his generation, and was awarded numerous honors and accolades for his work.
