Royal Haeger
American
Royal Haeger pottery was an American ceramics company founded in 1871 by David H. Haeger in Illinois. Initially, the company produced bricks, tiles, and flowerpots, but later, in the 1930s, they began producing art pottery. Royal Haeger's art pottery featured unique glazes and decorative designs, and it became popular in the mid-20th century. The company was known for its collaborations with famous designers such as Royal Hickman and Burslem Pottery in England. Despite changes in ownership and production strategies over the years, Royal Haeger remained a significant player in the American ceramics industry until it ceased operations in 2016.
