Vilhelm Lauritzen 'Radiohus' table lamps for Louis Poulsen. The VL38 table lamp was originally designed in the 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen, which is now home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music. This listing is for the table lamps. Also available in floor lamp and wall sconce versions.
Relaunched in 2016 its original design, the lamp head is organically shaped, painted white and obliquely angled. The arms of the light fittings are made of brass, the lamps have been fitted with LED light sources to accommodate modern advances in light technology and energy efficiency.
Features a steel base, spun aluminum shade and brass stem.
Downward directed light.
Wide range of adjustment with two lockable joints on the stem.
Glare-free illumination.
High, low or off foot switch.
Ships with 10 feet of white cord.
