Description
Sleek portrait of a Greyhound carved from sandstone in the mid-19th century. Descended in the Farmer family of Portsmouth, Ohio and believed to have been carved by an ancestor who arrived there from Virginia in the mid- 19th century. Originally meant for the garden but equally at home in a modern interior.
