Watercolor on cardboard of a young boy in a straw hat peeling an orange by the Italian artist, Guiseppe Gelanze. Signed middle right, along with “Napoli” or Naples. Circa 1910. Russian newspaper clippings glued verso. Good condition. Slight toning of paper, colors are bright. Currently unframed.

Giuseppe Gelanze was born in Italy in 1867. He is known for his genre paintings and watercolors, especially of women. He painted in Naples, Italy.
