Noomi Backhausen

Noomi Backhausen was a Danish ceramicist and textile artist who was born in 1930 and died in 2011. She is best known for her innovative approach to textile design and her contributions to the development of Danish modernism.
Backhausen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where she trained in a variety of disciplines, including ceramics and weaving.
