Description
A fine matched set of 16 Victorian mahogany dining chairs in the Chippendale style, each of generous proportions with a shaped cresting rail, openwork Gothic tracery to the splat, scrolling cabriole front legs and outswept back legs, carved with fleshy acanthus leaves and re-upholstered in distressed and close-nailed burgundy leather. English, c1890.
