A pair of side tables designed by Michael Taylor for his Far East collection for Baker Furniture Company circa 1960.
This furniture collection is considered the furniture collection that introduced post war America to Asian modern design in 1949.
The original cinnabar with tracings of black cellulose nitrate lacquer finish is intact.
The tables' original lacquer has a uniform shallow crazing and are in excellent vintage condition showing very minor aging. -
