Tommi Parzinger, Tall Bar Cabinet, USA, c. 1950
-
Description
An original cabinet designed and produced by Tommi Parzinger in the early 1950s. This beautiful piece was featured in Parzinger’s second showroom located at 32 East 57th Street in Manhattan.
The tall cabinet, designed with clean, modern lines, also reflects Moorish influences in the hand-carved, dark wood lattice that covers the cabinet’s single door. The exotic front features a small antiqued glass mirror. The cabinet retains its original greige satin lacquered exterior and Parzinger-red satin lacquered interior. The interior features a serving shelf with a drawer and four shelves that provide ample storage. All brass hardware is original. The interior drawer is branded “Parzinger Originals.” -
