French Early 20th Century Bistro Table
-
Description
A classically styled French bistro table, made there just after the turn of the 20th century. The table features a white marble top, with gray veins, that is in a capsule shape and in wonderful antique condition. It rests atop the cast iron base snugly, without a wobble. The base has been sandblasted and recently painted which will acquire a weathered patina over time. The center stretcher has the letters “DAD” cast into its form. Though this lovely table is intended for the patio or garden, it is by no means confined to the great outdoors. It would make a lovely addition to the interior of your home as well. c.1910.
