Basic Witz Furniture

The company was started in 1889 in Waynesboro, VA according to a Furniture World Magazine dated 1940. They had many styles including what we now call "Mid Century." The items below are all circa 1960s maybe into the early 1970s - their distinct lines were probably their way of interpreting and trying to capture some of the market/consumer interest in the Danish Modern style of the time.
They were bought out by Stanley Furniture (based in Virginia) in the 1970's
