Incredible sculptural bronze coffee table by German metalworker Lothar Klute. A functional and modern work of art! This stunning table features a patinated solid bronze pedestal base with 20 stylized spikes that soar up to 16.5" above the table surface. Seven bronze arms reach out perpendicular from the base to support the glass top with bronze fingers extending beyond the surface. Brutalist and abstract in form. Signed and dated "LK 92" to the base. Cast ice glass top measures 29" x 31" x 1" thick. Table surface measures 15.5" H. Overall the table measures 32" H x 32" W x 31" D including the bronze fingers. Consider using as a statement cocktail table or end table.
